Attention Brides-to-be! | Milwaukee Boudoir Photography
You’re getting married!
I bet you’ve been planning all the details for your big day: your dress, cake, music, menu, and so much more.
But have you thought about a special wedding day gift for your future husband?
Coming up with an “I love you and can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you” gift may feel impossible.
But this one is actually really easy! Let’s face it… your man wants YOU! So why not give him all of you:
The best version of you.
The sexiest version of you.
The confident version of you.
The most romantic version of you.
The silliest version of you.
The version of you he may not be used to seeing.
How can you deliver all of that in one gift?
Well, my friend....
That’s where boudoir photography comes in. SOOO many women are unfamiliar with what boudoir photography actually is. But it’s so simple: it is YOU!!! It’s your best, sexiest, most confident, most romantic, silliest, and revealing YOU!
It’s a photo shoot where you put yourself out there in an intimate way and give the tantalizing results to your groom-to-be. It will BLOW. HIS. MIND!
Interested? Here’s how to get started:
1. Find the right photographer
A photographer who specializes in boudoir photography has time, energy and creativity to ensure you’re guided through the best experience possible. She focuses on your comfort—knowing which angles and lighting are the most attractive. She also offers high-quality products to make the gift essentials as carefree as possible.
psst...Chrissy Rose Photography is ALL of this!
2. Prepare and plan with her
You and your photographer will work together to create a vision for your shoot. Mood boards are excellent tools that help ensure she understands your unique desires.
You’ll also want to consider the timing of your gift. Give yourself enough time to complete the shoot and receive the finished product (album, prints, slideshow, etc.) before your big day. A suggested time frame for the shoot is 3-4 months before your wedding date.
3. Decide what to wear
Your photographer will coach you on what type of clothes and accessories to bring. You may need to purchase new items for the shoot. Her recommendations will be based on the mood board you create together. From undergarments and nighties to shoes and accessories… she’ll advise you on what will catch his eye the most.
As a bride-to-be, you’ll want to include your wedding undergarments, shoes and maybe even your headpiece or veil.
4. Make yourself comfortable
With a boudoir session, you can expect a fun, empowering experience that you never knew you needed in your life. I’m not exaggerating when I say that. Boudoir photography is truly an incredible experience for every female.
You’ll likely be nervous walking in to the shoot. Every woman… even professional models are nervous. It’s your photographer’s job to put you at ease and guide you through the entire experience. She’ll coach you on posing and positioning against a variety of sets, highlighting your different wardrobe pieces. You’ll hear encouraging words and lots of positive reinforcement. There will be music and laughter!
A professional hair and makeup artist will do your makeover and stay through your shoot for touch ups or to modify your look. We offer everything from fresh face and smokey eye to beach waves and elegant updos during the same shoot.
Once your photo shoot is finished, you’ll schedule a reveal and ordering session to take place within two weeks. You’ll get to see your photos, make selections, design and order your album and prints.
5. Absorb his reaction
Obviously, your fiancé’s reaction can’t be predicted, but we have experience and we hear the same thing over and over:
His mind is blown. The photos are a captivating, one-of-a-kind gift that only you can give him.
And the key reason most men are blown away? Your confidence. Hands down: when men receive this gift, they’re more impressed and turned on by your confidence than anything else, promise!
